ZywOo, flameZ & mezii are your 2025 BLAST Austin Major Champions!

On June 22nd 2025, history was made once again when Team Vitality emerged victorious at the 1st CS2 Major of the year!

After getting surprised in their opening match vs Legacy, which ZywOo even described as a “slap in the face”, Team Vitality bounced back and made it all the way to the grand finals vs The MongolZ, after beating NAVI and MOUZ in the quarter and semifinals respectively.

Team Vitality's latest victory marks their seventh consecutive win in 2025, continuing the dominant streak that began with their IEM Katowice triumph in February.

For ZywOo, this win secures his second Major trophy, following his triumph at the 2023 BLAST Paris Major, and adds yet another MVP award to his name, bringing his total to an astounding 27.

Meanwhile, flameZ and mezii both earn their first Major titles, with mezii making history as the first-ever UK player to lift a Major trophy in Counter-Strike.

We’re extremely proud of our prodigies and everything they’ve accomplished so far, and now it’s time for some much-deserved rest during the player break. We can’t wait to see them back on stage at IEM Cologne, where they currently hold the champion title!
